My friend and I went here for brunch and the food was fantastic. My photo of the duck croque madame doesn’t show you how much duck bacon they stuffed inside; the fattiness of the bacon is cut by the mornay sauce. My friend got the flavored coffee with their version of the garbage plate and he got free refills on the coffee.
I would suggest coming near opening time because when we left around 11 AM, there was a decent gathering in the waiting room.

I love Mad Hatter. They have awesome vegetarian options, and everything I’ve tried has been consistently good. I’ve been here probably six times over the last few years, and it never disappoints. It’s one of those places I keep coming back … More

When I visited Rochester for my sisters wedding I took my friend here for breakfast. The aesthetic is purely adorable, we got to sit by a wall of assorted clocks. The tea was fresh and delicious and the food was prepared exactly how we hoped. As far as service went , it was a little packed at the time but our waitress was on point. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Quaint, it’s an old home turned into a restaurant and cafe. Reasonably priced. Food very tasty & my waitress Jennifer was kind and attentive. Asked to be sat somewhere warm but hostess sat me next to the door. 🤷🏽 … More

A great place for brunch!
The eggs Benedict sampler is must-try! Each Benedict is unique and flavorful. The sauces on each were terrific.
The tea selection is fantastic. And the tomato soup was rich and tasty.
The service was pretty good and the decor was nice.
Would recommend!

Really cute brunch spot that goes hard on the Alice in Wonderland theme. Tea comes with a fun little presentation, and the food was good. Just know I’ve waited 40+ minutes even on random weekdays, and it’s a bit pricey. More

Was not very impressed at all. Granted, could have caught them on an off day, or not fully understood the packaged we were getting - first interaction through the door, we had a reservation for 5 for high tea. We would only have 4. The staff member let me know we would still need to pay for the 5th seat. Thats fine. But no welcome, no other conversation, just "you still have to pay for the 5th person." Okay, ill stand here awkwardly. Thank you.
The tea did not stay hot. The leaves smelled nice and I imagine with proper water it would have tasted fine but each of us ended up with lukewarm tea paired with what I can only imagine as sandwiches prepared at least an hour before our arrival. Soggy bread. Bland flavors. Just an overall mediocre experience thst we paid just shy of $200 for 4 people. And a 5th seat. After tip.
Left still hungry and with the urge to make a cup of tea at home.
Ambiance was cluttered and aged though whimsical. In the right mood id say it would be properly enjoyable. In an off mood, it feels congested and stale.
I won't say I wouldn't give it another shot dining here. Likely to try their brunch and avoiding the tea service all together. Im not mad at this place or the staff just feel surgery underwhelmed at what could have been such a fun experience.
The waiter was kind and did explain the service briefly. Though it felt more like a rehearsed pitch and less like someone passionate about tea or their job.
The deserts were fine with the only complaint being a lemon bar that smelled possibly curdled. Reminded me faintly of dog food odor.
Maybe with a nap, a brief fasting period, and catching the staff in a better mood, I would be much more impressed.

We have found our fave little breakfast spot! So many options that meet allergy needs, and so much good food! Kitchy environment, nestled in an old house; the layout is tight, it is noisy when busy, and there will be a wait on Sundays, but it is all worth it! Get a bag of Tea on your way out, sooooo good!! Not worth the 40 minute wait. The Shakshuka (breakfast special) left a lot to be desired if you have even the most basic expectations of what that dish is supposed to be. Watery, not enough tomato, not flavorful—sloppy and sad. … More

Went here for lunch with family. An adorable Alice in Wonderland themed eatery. Nicely decorated and great service. All 4 of us were happy with our brunch meals. The bacon pancakes and spicy breakfast burrito were great! The bakery up front is full of delights to take home. We bought some delicious cookies and cakes and all were creative and tasty! Not a very big place, so it may be tough to get a table during busier times, but worth the wait. They also do high tea!! Fun AND delicious!
